Is HitGaming legit?
Fair question. You're mailing your games to a company you may not have heard of. Here's who we are, how you get paid, and how to check us yourself.
Who we are
HitGaming.com is owned and run by Springledge Entertainment, Inc., based in Trenton, Kentucky. We've bought, tested and resold video games, consoles and accessories since 2005. Every year, Springledge Entertainment buys millions of dollars' worth of new and used video games and consoles from private sellers. HitGaming.com is the way to sell to us directly.

How you get paid
- You see the offer first. Get a price online for each game, or snap a photo of a stack and let PriceBot price it. Nothing ships until you accept.
- Free shipping on $50+. Orders of $50 or more get a free prepaid label (lower 48 states), and every prepaid label includes $100 of coverage at no cost.
- We inspect every item by hand. Inspection usually starts within 2 business days of your package arriving and takes 2 to 7 business days, depending on the size of your order. A big order with lots of games or several consoles can take the full 7.
- You're paid within 2 business days after inspection is finished, by PayPal, Venmo, eCheck or mailed check. We don't charge fees.

What if you grade something differently than I did?
It happens: a missing manual, a scratched disc, a different version. When it does, we show you exactly what we found on your order page, item by item. For each one you choose:
- Sell it to us at the adjusted price,
- Send it back to me, or
- for anything we can't buy, Dispose of it for me at no cost.
If you think we got it wrong, you can dispute any item from your order page. A real person re-checks it and emails you the answer.
Why everything needs to work
Everything we buy, we clean, test, refurbish and resell to other players. That's why the games, consoles and accessories you send need to be in working condition: if something doesn't work, we can't pass it on to the next person.
We have our own repair bench, and it does real repair work. That goes well beyond swapping the save batteries in older cartridges, all the way to deeper repairs on consoles. But repairs take time, and the bench can only handle so much at once. So we'd rather buy items that already work, and we limit how many items needing repair we take in. That's why, on a normal order, an item that doesn't work pays $0.

Check us yourself
- Reviews: read what sellers say on Trustpilot (opens in new tab). We're a newer name there, so the review count is still small. Every one is from a real order.
- Talk to us: call, email, or use the chat on any page before you send anything.
Common questions
Is HitGaming a real company?
Yes. HitGaming.com is run by Springledge Entertainment, Inc. in Trenton, Kentucky, which has bought video games since 2005.
How long does it take to get paid?
Inspection usually starts within 2 business days of your package arriving and takes 2 to 7 business days, depending on the size of your order. Your payment goes out within 2 business days after inspection is finished. PayPal and Venmo arrive the same day we send them, an eCheck is emailed to you, and a mailed check usually takes 5 to 10 business days in the mail. (Business days are Monday to Friday, not counting holidays.)
Are there any fees?
No. We don't charge selling fees. Orders of $50 or more ship free on our prepaid label.
Is it safe to mail my games to you?
Yes. Orders of $50 or more ship on our prepaid label with tracking, and every prepaid label includes $100 of coverage at no cost. If your order is worth more, you can insure the whole amount at checkout.
What if my package gets lost?
If tracking shows no movement for 7 days after its first scan, we email you so you can check with the carrier. If it's still stuck at 21 days, it may be treated as lost in transit and handled through the carrier's claim process.
Can I cancel after I get the shipping label?
Yes. You can cancel from your order page at no cost, as long as the package hasn't been scanned by the carrier. The label is simply voided.
Why is your offer lower than what I see on eBay?
An eBay listing price isn't what the seller keeps. After fees, shipping, waiting for buyers and handling returns, the take-home is lower, and it comes one game at a time. We pay for your whole box at once, within 2 business days after inspection. If another buyer offers more cash, send us their offer on our Price Match page and we'll try to beat it.
Do you buy broken games or consoles?
Usually not. Everything we buy gets refurbished and resold, so items need to work. We do repairs in-house, from cartridge batteries to deeper console repairs, but our repair bench gets backed up quickly, so we prefer to buy working items and limit how many repair items we take in. On a normal order, an item that doesn't work pays $0.
What do you buy?
Video games, consoles and accessories for the major platforms, from retro systems to current ones. Search any title on our site to see what we pay.
