How we grade an original Xbox disc

Full offerLight to moderate scratches on the shiny underside, which our resurfacing handles. A rental sticker on the case. A boxed copy that lost its manual.

No offerA deep gouge you can feel with a fingernail, a crack, a chip, foil separation, scratches on the printed side, a disc that will not load after resurfacing, or a Japanese or PAL import.

Original Xbox games are DVDs, so a scuffed underside is usually fine: our in-house resurfacing takes off light to moderate scratching and the disc plays like new. Where can I sell my Xbox games?

Here, by mail, from anywhere in the lower 48. Price the games on this page, print the free label when the order reaches $50, and hand the box to USPS or UPS. There is no store and no store credit; the payout is cash by PayPal, Venmo, eCheck or Mailed Check.

Are original Xbox games worth anything?

More than most people think. The system had short print runs on anything that was not a Halo, so the licensed games, the Sega and Capcom titles and the horror games have climbed for years, while the sports annuals are worth a few dollars each. The table above shows the original Xbox games we are paying the most for today.

How much can I sell original Xbox games for?

Do you buy Xbox games without the case?

Yes. The disc alone is Loose and has its own price. The translucent green case with its cover art makes it Boxed. The manual does not change the offer.

What if an original Xbox disc is scratched?

Light to moderate underside scratching is resurfaced here at no charge, and the disc pays its full offer. A deep gouge, a crack, or a disc that still will not load after resurfacing is paid at $0 or returned at your cost, so test each one before you ship. Discs with authorized refurbishment are handled before any decision is made.

Can I sell my original Xbox console for cash too?

Yes, as long as it works. Our base payouts start at $63 with one official controller. A drive that will not read discs, overheating, a cracked or yellowed shell, or the leaking clock capacitor that takes out so many of these consoles means we cannot buy that unit; everything else is itemized on the card. Controllers and memory units have their own cards with a short checklist each.

Does GameStop still buy original Xbox games?
