How we grade a GBA cartridge

Full offerA clean shell, clean contacts, and the label in good condition. Light wear on the plastic costs nothing; these spent years in pockets.
A quarter or half offMarker or writing on the plastic shell is a quarter off. A sticker or writing on the label, a peeling label, moderate yellowing, or a cartridge that needs heavy cleaning before it boots takes half.
No offerA missing, ripped or faded label, a cracked shell, a cartridge that will not play, or a reproduction cartridge, which the GBA has more of than any other system.

Reproduction cartridges are the Game Boy Advance problem: the famous titles have been copied for years, and a fake pays nothing, so if a copy came from a marketplace at a price too good to be true, check it against a known original before you ship. Where a listing marks a save battery, a dead one is not a refusal: we solder in a new one and deduct the charge shown on that game. Where can I sell GBA games for cash?
Here, by mail, from anywhere in the lower 48. Price the cartridges on this page, print the free label once the order is $50 or more, and drop the box at USPS or UPS. No store to drive to and no store credit; the payout is cash by PayPal, Venmo, eCheck or Mailed Check.
What GBA games are worth money?
The Pokemon games first, then the RPGs, the Castlevania and Fire Emblem titles and anything from a small publisher that had one short run. A complete cardboard box multiplies the value, because most of these were opened and tossed. The table above shows the GBA games we are paying the most for today, and any title you search shows its own offer.
How much do GBA games sell for?
For exactly what this page shows you, before you ship. Search a title and you get a loose, a boxed and a new offer, each with the date it was shown. The offer you accept at checkout is locked for 14 days while you ship, and it is what you are paid once the cartridge matches the condition you picked.
Do you buy Game Boy Advance games without the box?
Yes. A bare cartridge is Loose and has its own price. For the Boxed price we need the original cardboard box in good condition, with solid corners and no crushing, tears or water damage; a worn, damaged or reproduction box pays the Loose price instead. The manual does not move the offer.
What if a GBA cartridge does not save?
Where the listing marks a save battery, a dead one is replaced here and the charge shown on that game is deducted, so it never stops the sale. Dust and light wear cost nothing. Writing on the shell takes a quarter off, and a sticker or writing on the label, a peeling label, moderate yellowing or heavy cleaning before it boots takes half. A cartridge that still will not play is paid at $0 or returned to you at your cost, so test each one before you ship.
Can I sell my Game Boy Advance SP too?
Yes, and the original GBA and the Micro as well, as long as they power on and play. Our base payouts start at $54; a scratched screen lens, a yellowed screen or light yellowing is a deduction, while heavy yellowing, a broken hinge on an SP, dead pixels, dead buttons, a bad speaker (crackles, too quiet or no sound), a cracked LCD, missing lines on the display, corroded battery terminals or a swollen battery means we cannot buy that unit. No backlight on an original GBA is normal, not a defect. An SP has a lithium battery, so the whole order ships by ground on a UPS label with the battery kit, handed to a staffed counter rather than a drop box.
Does GameStop still buy GBA games?
Most counters stopped taking Game Boy Advance cartridges years ago, and those that do pay store credit at walk-in prices.
