If it shows a PEGI, CERO, USK, ACB or any other foreign rating instead, we can’t buy it. North American copies show an ESRB rating (E, T, M and so on), on the box and on most discs. 🔍 Hover to enlarge🔍 Tap to enlarge One exception for this game: copies sold in the Middle East and Asia also have an ESRB rating, but they are not North American copies. You can tell by this logo in the bottom-right corner of the cover: U.A.E / Saudi Arabia / Malaysia / Singapore. We still buy those, at the Loose price ().

Disc policy: light scratching on the bottom is fine as long as the game plays. Top-side scratches or any crack (check the center hub) make a disc ineligible; a sticker on the top of the disc is a 50% deduction. Case condition doesn't matter — we replace cases.

Quick checks for this game

These aren’t the only signs of a fake. Before you add it, read our guide: How to spot a fake game (opens in new tab)

I checked my copy, and I’m sure it’s an authentic original, not a reproduction.

We check every copy of this game for authenticity when it arrives. A reproduction pays $0, and return postage is yours if you want it back.

Quick check — how’s the box?

I confirm the original cardboard box is in good condition — solid corners, no crushing, tears, water damage, or heavy wear.I confirm the original plastic case is in good condition, with no damage inside or outside, the clips are not broken, and the cover art is original and in good condition.

Genesis, Master System, Game Gear and 32X games came in plastic cases. Any damage to the case, inside or outside, or a broken clip, is paid at the Loose price.

Boxes are re-checked at inspection. A worn box on a Boxed-price item is adjusted to the Loose price.

Quick check — the cover art

Pull the paper cover art out of the case and look at the front and the back.

Is the box art in good condition? I verify I pulled the cover art out and it is original (not reprinted), no wrinkles, punctures, no front or rear damage, no stains / water marks.

If it has any of these issues, you must sell it as Loose.

The plastic case doesn’t matter — we replace cases. Only the paper art has to be in good condition. Art is re-checked at inspection; art with any of these issues is paid the Loose price.
